The Crewman was built by people who have worked on both sides of an event day. Inside venues. On production calls. In hospitality teams. In the moments where a plan meets reality.
That experience shaped a simple belief: staffing works best when the person is chosen for the role, not simply added to a headcount.
We provide hospitality, technical and production crew across London, with a focus on people who understand pace, standards and teamwork. The goal is not to be noticed. The goal is for the event to work exactly as it should.

People are not interchangeable. Experience, attitude and judgement matter, especially when the room is full and the clock is moving.
We focus on matching people to the work they are ready to do. That means understanding the brief, the venue, the team around them and the level of responsibility the role carries.
We want clients to know who is arriving and crew to know what is expected. Clear expectations create better work on both sides.

Our Team

Ravi Sagar | Technical Lead

“Lights, Sound, and Visuals”—these three words define my twelve-year journey in the events industry”.

Ravi has spent more than a decade in live events and production, progressing from warehouse operations to project management. His experience spans major London venues including The O2, Royal Albert Hall and Wembley Stadium, as well as hotel and event environments.
That progression gave him a practical understanding of how technical teams work at every level. He knows the equipment matters, but he also knows the quality of the people operating it is what keeps a production moving. At The Crewman, Ravi leads the technical side of the business.
Bridgette Gayle | Hospitality Lead

“Hospitality may be a small word, but its impact is powerful enough to transform any event.”

Bridgette built her career from agency roles on the floor to senior positions within leading London venues. Her experience includes the Royal Society of Arts, the Royal Opera House and art’otel London.
Having worked both as agency staff and within venue operations, she understands what good temporary staffing looks like from both perspectives. She brings that insight to The Crewman, shaping hospitality teams around service standards, clear leadership and the realities of event day.
Prerana Sheth | Operations and Client Experience

“I didn’t choose hospitality—it chose me.”

Prerana came to events through an unconventional route. With a background in accounting, management and international business, she began in hospitality and moved through coffee, kitchen, venue operations and freelance event work before progressing into event operations.
Working across different parts of the operation gave her a wide view of what clients, venues and crew need from one another. At The Crewman, she brings that operational perspective to client communication, systems and the way the business is designed to work.
